8 December 2006 Dominican student brothers on Broadway. Four of the Dominican students from St Dominic's made the journey to Sydney to assist the Office for Evangelisation of the Archdiocese of Sydney in their parish mission at St Benedict's, Broadway. Located just outside Sydney's central business district, St Benedict's is a parish which has a small residential population alongside the Broadway Campus of Notre Dame University. Fr John Neill, O.P. has been Parish Priest since 2004. It is also not far from the University of Sydney, where Fr Dominic Murphy, O.P. is a chaplain, and the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). Our student brothers will take to the streets in the parish, going door-knocking, delivering Christmas hampers and providing hospitality during the day to passers-by. The mission's programme includes all-day Eucharistic adoration in the Church, a coffee tent, discussion fora and a screening of the movie Mother Teresa. Praedicate, fratres!
